Letting the domain name die

Just got notice from Yahoo that the Propagandasifter.com domain is about to expire. I just haven't had the inclination to continue blogging lately. Too much time playing Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, and The Orange Box on Xbox 360. So, henceforth, you can find entries here at propagandasifter.blogspot.com. That is, whenever I decide to start blogging again....

Are We Living in a Kakistocracy?

Christie over at Life at the condo was watching the National Spelling Bee when the word Kakistocracy came up. I think she may be onto something here....

50 Pieces of Art to See Before You Die

Here's a list of 50 great art pieces from around the world. Too bad I don't live near any of them (save for the thingamajig in Utah). I'm always surprised at the choices people come up with whenever I come across one of these lists. [Your Final 50]

<--- A Painting by Wassily Kandinsky, who was not on the list but is a personal favorite.

Campbell's Soup to Release Warhol Cans

According to Jamie, over on Supertouch, Campbell's will be releasing a limited-edition run of cans in the traditional Warhol colors.

Now those are definite collector's items that can double as art themselves.

Video Blog: Ashen's Video Review

Here is an excellent site featuring a Brit reviewing electronics. Sifting at its best!

Video Blog: lonelygirl15

Okay, so maybe it's fake. But It's a really good fake. I was convinced after seeing her go swimming in a one-piece that she truly was being held in the clutches of conservative religious parentage. After all, which religious girl would actually wear a bikini?

These silly little videos by lonelygirl15 are trite and boring, but also strangely addictive. To garner a true appreciation, you need to see them for yourself. Some are funny, most are boring, but a few seem to have a certain timeless quality about them. I have no doubt this will be made into a feature-length film before long.
