TV: Ninja Warrior (G4)

I have enjoyed this show since I first discovered it on G4 last Summer. Each cycle consists of 100 competitors trying to get through 3 stages. Most don't make it past the 1st stage. Hilarity often ensues as the amateurs attempt to get through the first stage, often times taking horrible spills in the process. Only a handful of hardcore enthusiasts have trained (yes, trained) hard enough to make it to the third stage. I lost interest in this show after watching two cycles and seeing that no one could win.

Now it appears someone has finally won. As far as I know, this is only the 2nd person to ever win the challenge in several years of running on Japanese television.
